This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while you serve clients directly from an outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and craft tailored treatment approaches.

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at supporting trauma recovery and enhancing emotional resilience.

  • Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

  • Leading individual and group therapy sessions to help patients effectively process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster a supportive community.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists and other professionals within our integrated care model to provide holistic treatment for our patients.
  • \n
  • Delivering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive essential care when needed.
  • \n
  • Educating patients and their families regarding trauma responses, adaptive skills, and available social and healthcare resources.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate and secure patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA and professional ethical standards.
  • \n
  • Participating in ongoing professional development activities and staying abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve are primarily adult survivors of trauma, including individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Each patient's experience is unique, and your role will be instrumental in helping them navigate their healing journey through trauma-informed care and support.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • \n
  • A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care and mental health support.
  • \n
  • A capacity to maintain calm in high-pressure situations, ensuring a steady presence for patients during critical moments.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with specialized training in trauma-focused interventions and demonstrated outcomes in trauma recovery will be given priority. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and experience working in multidisciplinary teams will further enhance your suitability for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Spring Mountain Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually. In addition, we provide:
