Endocrinologist Opportunity
NRMC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive endocrine care in a rural community setting. This role offers the opportunity to build a strong outpatient practice with meaningful impact in chronic disease management.
Practice Overview
- Diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders
- Diabetes care (Type 1, Type 2, and complex cases)
- Thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic conditions
- Outpatient-focused practice with referral support
- Opportunity to develop a high-demand specialty service line
Hospital & Community
- 71-bed rural hospital serving ~20,000 population
- High community need for endocrinology services
- Limited nearby specialty access
- Strong referral base from primary care providers
- Focus on long-term patient relationships
Clinical Support & Resources
- Established primary care referral network
- Laboratory and imaging services on-site
- Diabetes education and nursing support available
- Collaborative interdisciplinary care model
Qualifications
- MD or DO eligible for Missouri licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Experience with diabetes management strongly preferred
- Comfort working in a rural outpatient-focused setting
