License: Pharmacist license in the state of practice required
Certifications: All licensures and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Pharmacist at the state level required


Description:
Located where breathtaking ocean views meet dense coastal forests,
this position involves verifying and filling orders for medications.
You will monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information.
This role requires identifying and troubleshooting potential medication safety hazards.
You will document all interactions for medical review.
Supervision and direction of support personnel will be part of the responsibilities.
Essential functions include processing, entering, verifying, and distributing medication orders in a timely manner.
You must ensure compliance with department policies and regulatory guidelines.
Active engagement in ensuring medication therapy is efficacious, safe, cost-effective, and achieves the best therapeutic outcomes is required.
You will be responsible for optimizing medication prescribing with respect to indication, dose, route, frequency, and history of allergy.
The role includes cataloging and analyzing areas in which medication improvement is needed.
Consistent performance of quality assurance procedures in related work areas is essential.
Participation in all pharmacy-related tasks and programs is expected, including clinical rounds and medication management activities.
You must expedite necessary changes to meet regulatory, accrediting, and licensing standards.
Participation in department cost savings initiatives is also required.
Collaboration with leadership to purchase and procure medications and supplies is part of the role.
You will assist in making recommendations for process improvement or development of new pharmacy services.
Other job-related duties may be assigned as needed.
