Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call rotation included

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as OR circulator in a 5-room surgical suite performing 1:1 patient care
• Support a range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic cases
• Operate and assist with basic OR equipment including cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, and positioning equipment
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in rotating weeknight call (minimum one night per week) and rotating weekend call (minimum one weekend per 5-week schedule)
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Ability to fulfill rotating call schedule (weeknights and weekends as outlined above)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in one or more of the following surgical specialties: orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Flexible, team-oriented attitude with a compassionate and willing approach to patient care
