Paint Booth Technician Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Operate paint booth equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of paint booth and work area
- Monitor and maintain proper ventilation and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on spray equipment and tools
- Assist in moving and staging parts for painting
Requirements for Paint Booth Technician:
- Experience in industrial or automotive painting preferred
- Knowledge of paint mixing, coating applications, and surface prep techniques
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and finish quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently
- Ability to work in enclosed environment with proper ventilation
- Ability to work mandatory overtime based on production demands
