Seven Healthcare are seeking a competent RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Longview, TX. The nurse will independently practice and develop long-range plans to address the mix of diagnostic and acuity challenges, including respiratory issues, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Meet expectations of the applicable competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 2 years of experience in the related nursing specialty required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• RN License in state of TX or compact
