Project management experience is valued but not required.What You’ll DoLead mechanical design for industrial facilities, including mining and production operationsServe as atechnical leader and client partner, building strong relationships and supporting project success from concept through constructionDesign and oversee systems including:Industrial ventilation and dust collectionProcess piping, pumping, and plumbingBalance-of-plant and material handling support systemsScope project requirements, verify calculations, and validate equipment selectionPrepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reportsCoordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and architectural teamsMentor and support early‑career engineersSupport construction administration and site visits as neededContribute to project coordination, client interactions, or proposalsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) registration required8+ years of mechanical design experience in heavy industrial or mining environmentsStrong experience leading design efforts and mentoring junior engineersExperience leading technical design efforts across disciplinesStrong communication skills and interest in mentoring othersAbility to travel occasionally (generally up to ~20%).Valid driver's licenseFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and/or Plant 3D preferredPrevious design experience in mining or industrial facilities$97,000 - $153,500 a yearThe listed salary range reflects base pay for candidates with 8-20 years of related experience.
