Description Physical Therapy Assistant at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts. The staff Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a registered physical therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for direct patient care, family /caregiver training, documentation, and team communication for all assigned patients. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate from a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. or equivalent educ/experience If initially licensed after 2010: Graduate of a CAPTE Program (Commission on Accredited Physical Therapy Education) per Medicare Requirements Ref. 42CFR484.4. Upon hire: California Physical Therapy Assistant License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience in rehabilitation. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
