Role Description The Financial Services Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaluma, CA. This position is responsible for providing members with personalized financial guidance, including opening and servicing accounts, processing transactions, and explaining credit union products and services. The role includes assisting members with loans, investments, and insurance products, responding to inquiries in person and by phone, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The Financial Services Representative will also identify member needs, recommend suitable financial solutions, maintain accurate records, and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Financial Services to support member guidance and product recommendations. Candidates should possess skills related to Investments to help members understand and select appropriate financial options. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to deliver courteous, responsive, and solution-oriented support. Candidates should possess knowledge of products to assist members in choosing coverage that aligns with their needs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a member-focused environment. Attention to detail, accuracy in handling transactions, and comfort with basic computer and banking systems. Prior experience in a credit union, bank, or financial services environment is beneficial.
