Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.How You Will Make an ImpactSupport daily operational activities for institutional and insurance investment portfolios across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, mortgage-backed securities, bank loans, repos, and private investmentsPerform daily cash, position, transaction, and market value reconciliations between client records, custodians, prime brokers, and counterpartiesInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks by researching discrepancies and coordinating with internal and external stakeholdersMonitor trade lifecycle events, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and exception managementTrack and process corporate actions and related operational activitiesMonitor failed trades and work with counterparties and custodians to facilitate timely resolution and settlementProcess wires, settlements, collateral movements, and cash-related transactionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients while serving as a point of contact for operational inquiriesAssist with client onboarding activities, account setup, and process implementation effortsPartner with internal teams including Accounting, Data Management, Technology, Product and Client Service to support daily operationsIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automation, and controlsParticipate in special projects, process enhancements, testing initiatives, and ad hoc requestsDocument procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of team workflows and controlsRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related fieldInternship, co-op, or relevant work experience in financial services, operations, accounting, or client service is preferred but not requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify solutionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelDesire to learn financial products, investment operations, and capital marketsWhat Sets You ApartUnderstanding of financial markets, investments, or investment operations through coursework, internships, or prior experienceExperience working with large datasets and performing reconciliationsCuriosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindsetDemonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when neededInterest in pursuing a long-term career in investment operations, accounting, or financial servicesJoin SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities.
