This position can be located in either Redondo Beach, CA, Aurora, CO, or Gilbert, AZ.This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future. Additionally, the candidate must be able to travel to Redondo Beach, CA for approximately 4 consecutive weeks for required training.In this role, you will develop and sustain several mission operational SW product lines, as well as develop new capabilities. You will join a large team comprising of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus. We are looking for an energetic and passionate software engineer to join our team as we work to provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of our national security mission.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeMust have an active SCI at time of application OR an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start dateAdvanced Object-Oriented programming skillsExperience with C++ programmingKnowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systemPreferred Qualifications:DevSecOps Test Automation experienceExperience with programming/scripting languages: C. C++. Java, Python, PerlStrong in math and algorithmsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholdersPrevious participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile processFamiliarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)Experience developing in a Linux environment using gitDemonstrated problem solving and decision making skillsActive TS/SCI security clearanceThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
