As a Shipping Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team to ensure efficient warehouse distribution, inventory management, and materials handling. Your leadership will keep our operations running smoothly, on time, and safely. You'll work closely with a team of supervisors, managers, and production staff to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do As a Shipping Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Managing material and time for the entire department, ensuring maximum equipment functionality Achieving productivity goals by preparing materials for each shift to complete work orders Developing department leads and team members with problem-solving skills and adherence to departmental standards Utilizing shipping dashboards for analytics and action planning Directly scheduling all department jobs to meet deadlines Managing time and scheduling to ensure continuous production and prompt shift starts Ensuring next shift is prepped for a quick start by organizing materials and tasks Tracking run vs. expected hours and driving productivity to meet packaging time goals Collaborating across departments for quality improvement and workflow efficiency Conducting inventory counts and maintaining accurate documentation Troubleshooting issues efficiently and effectively as they arise Communicating with engineers, managers, and staff to ensure smooth operations Managing inventory, parts, and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality standards Participating in recruitment and workforce planning to build a strong team Providing quality control through parts inspection and defect prevention Supporting safety, quality, and operational standards at all times

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment The ability to read prints and technical documentation Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills Detail-oriented mindset and ability to multitask effectively Self-motivation and organizational skills to maintain an efficient department Good basic math and computer skills
