Service Contracted Facility Janitor
Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Service Contracted Facility Janitor to join their team. As a Service Contracted Facility Janitor, you will be part of the maintenance and custodial support team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay Range: $20.00/hr. Starting
Shift: Morning Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm and Part Time Weekend 7:00am-5:30pm, Graveyard Monday-Friday 5:30pm-2am
What's the Job?
- Perform regular rounds of the building to collect garbage, sweep, and maintain grounds
- Clean and service shop floors, perimeter parking lots, loading docks, and restrooms
- Sweep, dust, vacuum, and mop floors in various areas
- Gather, sort, and dispose of rubbish, waste, and recycling materials
- Keep the building safe from spills or debris, including spill cleanup when necessary
What's Needed?
- Knowledge of standard janitorial methods, practices, tools, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs solo, and 80 lbs with assistance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as scheduled
