Tooling & Design Engineer

Wieland is hiring a Tooling & Design Engineer . The Tooling & Design Engineer will be responsible for meeting Forgeworks’ customer demand by developing products and designing tooling necessary to produce Forgeworks products. This role supports manufacturing operations with tooling inventory management, supplier development and technical support for sales and business development processes. This position is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site. Responsibilities Design, develop and troubleshoot all forged and machined products and associated tooling. Inventory control, budgeting and sourcing of forging and machining tooling. Engineering support and tool cost estimating of new products for the Sales department. Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineering on quality improvement and cost reduction efforts related to forging tooling and processes.
