Commercial Journeyman Electrician | Per Diem + Incentive Pay

Job Description Job Description We’re looking for experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians to support major commercial projects across the DFW area. If you want steady work, a strong team, and the opportunity to keep building your skill set, this is the right move. As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll work under the direction of a Foreman or Superintendent on installations, modifications, upgrades, and repairs. Work will vary across active commercial job sites. Current Incentives Per Diem on all current DFW metro projects Icentive pay on top of your base wage Responsibilities Prepare layouts and gather materials for installation Run conduit, pull wire, and install electrical systems and equipment Install and connect wiring in accordance with blueprints and specifications Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and system start-up Perform rough-in and finish work on commercial projects Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Follow all safety standards and company protocols Minimum Requirements Active Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Journeyman Electrician License 5+ years of commercial electrical experience OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain) Basic hand tools Strong understanding of electrical theory, code, and layout Solid mechanical aptitude and math/reading skills Valid driver’s license or state ID with reliable transportation Willingness to work overtime as needed Ability to pass pre-employment screening (physical, background, drug test) Education High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Why Walker Engineering We work on some of the largest and most dynamic commercial projects in the region.
