Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is a 336-bed facility that is part of the seven-hospital Valley Health System serving Northwest Las Vegas community. Job Description

Responsible for performing patient care, patient service activities, procedures, clerical duties and assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School or one (1) year of on-the-job experience in a major operating room.

Experience: One (1) year ORT job experience in major operating room may replace OR Technical School requirement.

License/Certification: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or per NRS 449.2185, sec. 1.(c) Engaged in the practice of surgical technology in a health care facility before January 1, 2018. Current BLS Certification.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
