Maintenance TechnicianLunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road is currently hiring for a self-directed and outgoing Maintenance Technician! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage $30.00-$40.00/hr.We operate 24 hours/day and 365 days/year. For this position we are looking for someone with availability around the hours of 6:00am-2:00pm.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for performing routine and non-routine types of preventive and on-going maintenance (this includes repairs in the areas of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and machine servicing).Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.Follow appropriate equipment/tool repair and maintenance guidelines for preventive and routine maintenance to assure product quality, availability and freshness according to department standards.Ensure established equipment, parts and service manuals inventory guidelines are followed; maintain ongoing inventory report of equipment, parts and service manuals to ensure accurate accounting.Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair work needed to ensure equipment, work tools, facility, etc., are in good/safe working order following company, city, state and federal regulations with regard to work practices.Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.Perform equipment and building preventative maintenance following established schedule.Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques.Maintain a clean and orderly work area ensuring workspace and storage areas are free from debris and clutter at all times.
