Cashier/Host - LaRosa's Crescent Springs

Job Summary:

Greets and serves the needs of each guest from the front counter and/or greets guests at the door in a friendly manner. Seats and presents menus to guests cordially, professionally and in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• • Takes carry out orders from guests
• • Accurately rings out dining or carry out tickets
• • Checks carry out orders for accuracy before giving to guest
• • Able to use a computer to ring in orders
• • Interacts with guests at the front counter to ensure a positive dining experience
• • Able to report to work in a neat clean uniform
• • Cleans front counter and/or Host area and other areas as assigned
• • Greets guests in friendly manner as they enter the restaurant.
• • Seats and presents menus to guests
• • Manages waiting list when necessary
• • Run floor plan board by observing tables to keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
• • Follows LEAN processes as defined for both their roll and the pizzeria
• • Works with Team Members throughout the location on a daily basis including: Store Management, Front of the House and Back of the House staff
• • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• • Verbally interacts with Management, Team Members and Guests
• • Basic mathematical skills
• • Ability to make change and process different types of payment
• • Visually scans restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables
• • Ability to work in standing position for extended periods of time
• • Performs multiple tasks simultaneously
• • Willingness to work rotating shift schedules
• • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on a regular basis
• • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
• • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is exposed to wet, humid, hot, and loud conditions.
• Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns.
• Non slip shoes are required to be worn at all times by all Team Members in the pizzerias
• • Must be at least 16 years old

Experience Required:

Some restaurant experience preferred but not required
