-Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production equipment throughout the facility. Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation. Ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while conducting work functions. Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted. Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority. Reporting damages, defects, and other issues pertaining to electrical and mechanical units to the supervising manager. Documenting spare and replacement parts required and completing all necessary documentation for the same. Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment. Following corporate and site‑specific Good Manufacturing Practices and reporting noncompliance when observed. Observing all company safety rules and assisting in enforcement as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. Shift and Compensation Weekday 1st shift: Wednesday – Saturday 7:00 am-5:30 pm. Salary: $25.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential. Requirements Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience. In‑depth electrical and mechanical experience, proficient with voltages from 24 V to 480 V, PLC knowledge, and troubleshooting experience. Experience with Automated Guided Vehicle (AVG) or Laser Guided Vehicle (LVG) and knowledge of HMIs. Ability to work independently, manage time, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Proficient in preventative maintenance tasks and services. Ability to use electrical testing equipment, power tools, and hand tools efficiently. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to follow oral or written instructions, work as part of a team, and build cooperative relationships. High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
