Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients. The ideal candidate will support surgical procedures, monitor patient recovery, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Render preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Assist during CVOR procedures, including scrubbing in and providing sterile support.
• Monitor patient vitals and condition throughout surgical cases and postoperative recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient statuses.
• Follow established protocols and safety standards to ensure patient safety.
• Assist with on-call coverage and emergency cases as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Possess CVOR scrub skills with the ability to scrub cardiovascular and general procedures.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude.
• Experience in robotics, orthopedic, or neuro/spine surgeries is a plus.
• Willingness to work with flexible scheduling, including weekends and on-call shifts.
