Occupational Therapist

Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist will provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation setting, with a focus on improving independence, safety, functional abilities, and quality of life. Responsibilities: Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals. Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence. Assist residents with improving their ability to perform dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and other daily activities. Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training as appropriate. Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge information. Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, residents, and families. Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions. Maintain compliance with facility policies, applicable regulations, and professional standards. Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current New York State Occupational Therapist license required. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care preferred. Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
