The Sr. Brand Portfolio Manager, CSD Strategy is responsible for leading the strategic direction, portfolio planning, and financial performance architecture for Community Coffee's Coffee Service Division. This role develops long-term portfolio and channel strategies that drive profitable growth across Coffee Service customers, product platforms, equipment programs, and routes to market. This position owns CSD portfolio strategy, innovation prioritization, lifecycle discipline, pricing architecture, and portfolio financial planning. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Equipment teams, the Sr. Brand Portfolio Manager establishes the strategic framework that guides portfolio investment, product mix, innovation priorities, and profitability across the Coffee Service business. Success in this role requires strong financial acumen, structured strategic thinking, and the ability to translate market, customer, and financial insights into clear portfolio strategies that support sustainable growth, margin expansion, and disciplined commercial execution. Key Responsibilities Lead development of the Coffee Service Division's annual and multi-year portfolio strategy aligned to enterprise growth objectives. Identify portfolio expansion opportunities, category gaps, whitespace platforms, and margin improvement levers across Coffee Service channels. Translate market, customer, competitive, and financial insights into clear portfolio priorities and structured growth strategies. Establish portfolio guardrails for product mix, innovation investment, lifecycle discipline, pricing architecture, and margin expectations. Define strategic priorities that guide portfolio decisions across product categories, customer segments, and routes to market. Partner with Finance and Sales to inform portfolio financial planning assumptions, including revenue, margin, mix, pricing, investment, and profitability drivers. Lead development of portfolio-related annual business planning inputs, including performance analysis, competitive review, and strategic gap assessment. Monitor portfolio performance and recommend actions to support revenue, mix, margin, and profitability objectives. Evaluate portfolio economics, including price-pack architecture, mix shifts, cost impacts, margin drivers, and revenue growth opportunities. Identify risks to portfolio performance and develop recommendations to improve profitability, portfolio health, and investment discipline. Support forecast accuracy by providing portfolio insights, lifecycle considerations, innovation assumptions, and customer/channel inputs. Lead CSD innovation strategy and pipeline prioritization aligned to enterprise growth objectives, customer needs, and channel strategy. Identify and develop new product opportunities, renovation initiatives, equipment-related portfolio opportunities, and whitespace platforms. Drive disciplined lifecycle management across Coffee Service products, programs, and equipment-related offerings. Evaluate SKU, product, and program performance; make data-driven recommendations for portfolio expansion, optimization, rationalization, or discontinuation. Ensure innovation initiatives align with portfolio economics, margin expectations, operational feasibility, and commercial strategy. Partner cross-functionally to ensure innovation priorities are clearly defined, financially sound, and executable across the business. Serve as a strategic connector across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and Equipment teams. Align portfolio strategy with customer strategy, go-to-market priorities, operational capabilities, and financial objectives. Partner with Key Accounts and Execution leaders to translate portfolio strategy into effective commercial plans and selling priorities. Influence cross-functional partners to support disciplined portfolio decisions, innovation trade-offs, and lifecycle management actions. Provide strategic recommendations that balance customer needs, enterprise priorities, operational complexity, and profitability. Monitor category trends, competitive activity, customer needs, channel shifts, and evolving Coffee Service market dynamics. Leverage internal and external data to inform portfolio strategy, innovation priorities, pricing decisions, and investment recommendations. Identify opportunities to expand distribution, strengthen product mix, improve margin, and enhance portfolio relevance across channels. Translate market insights and financial analysis into actionable portfolio recommendations that drive profitable growth. Develop clear business cases, executive-ready insights, and decision frameworks to support high-impact portfolio decisions. Provide strategic portfolio leadership across the Coffee Service Division. Serve as a subject matter expert on portfolio performance, pricing architecture, lifecycle strategy, and portfolio financial management. Support the development of portfolio management discipline and decision-making capability across the division. Communicate complex portfolio and financial information in a clear, practical, and business-ready manner. Model Community Coffee's values and demonstrate strong ownership, collaboration, and accountability in a highly visible role. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred. 8+ years of experience in brand management, portfolio management, product marketing, innovation, commercial strategy, or CPG/foodservice marketing roles. Experience developing portfolio, brand, product, or channel strategies that support profitable growth and align with business objectives. Strong understanding of portfolio management principles, including product positioning, innovation prioritization, lifecycle management, SKU optimization, and commercialization. Demonstrated ability to translate consumer, customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable portfolio strategies and business recommendations. Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Innovation/R&D, and Equipment teams. Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to understand revenue, margin, pricing, mix, volume, and investment trade-offs. Experience supporting annual planning, forecasting inputs, launch planning, business case development, or portfolio performance reviews. Proven ability to evaluate product and portfolio performance and recommend actions to improve growth, relevance, and profitability. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and communicate clear recommendations. Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to align cross-functional partners and present effectively to senior leaders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead through ambiguity, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment. CPG, foodservice, beverage, route-to-market, customer/channel, or B2B portfolio experience preferred.
