Participate in preparation of plans, specifications, and engineer’s cost estimates (PS&E packages). Perform bridge load rating. Conduct structural modeling and analysis using industry‑standard software. Prepare engineering reports and technical memoranda. Review shop drawings and provide construction‑phase engineering support. Assist with or lead construction cost estimation and quantity takeoffs. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high‑quality solutions. What we're looking for: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or related, MS in Structural Engineering preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months. 4+ years of progressively responsible structural design experience. Experience in concrete, steel, and/or prestressed concrete bridge design is preferred. Working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
