Role Overview: Senior Web Manager, CoStar Group

Arlington, VA | On-site Monday-Friday

Matterport is seeking a Senior Web Manager to own the performance of our global web presence across multiple domains, built on Contentful. Reporting to the Senior Director of Demand Generation, you will keep our sites current, fast, and pointed at growth.

Conversion is the job. Our website has two jobs to do: generate qualified leads that feed sales pipeline, and complete orders for camera hardware, subscriptions, and Capture Services. You will instrument both, report on both, and run a continuous experimentation program that measurably improves both.

The goal is a unified web roadmap and one holistic view of web performance. Content, design, SEO, landing pages, and commerce all shape the same outcome, so they need to be planned and measured together rather than optimized in isolation. You will own that roadmap and answer for the result. Web Creative and Web Content sit in Creative and will continue to, and you will partner with them as peers on one shared plan.

Responsibilities

Own the Web Roadmap

• Own one prioritized web roadmap across Matterport's domains, sequenced against growth, brand, and revenue goals.

• Align Product, Engineering, Design, Creative, and Marketing partners around that plan, and keep it moving.

• Write the briefs. Partner with Web Creative on design, Web Content on authoring, and Engineering on build and components.

• Make content and page updates directly in Contentful when needed. Publishing should never wait on one person being available.

• Escalate and coordinate resolution when site health or availability issues surface.

Conversion, Lead Generation, and Experimentation

• Own web conversion across both paths: completed orders, and form fills that become qualified leads for Sales.

• Define and instrument the metrics that matter, including visit-to-order rate, form conversion, and drop-off across evaluation, account creation, checkout, and purchase.

• Run a standing experimentation program in VWO or Optimizely, and turn analytics into a prioritized backlog of high-impact tests.

• Improve form and call-to-action performance to grow both the volume and the quality of leads reaching pipeline.

• Own web performance reporting. Build and maintain the dashboards that connect pages to engagement and revenue, and report to marketing leadership on a regular cadence.

• Partner with Paid Media and Lifecycle on landing experiences and post-click conversion.

Marketing Site and Page Performance

• Own the performance of our industry and solution pages: organic traffic, engagement, and mid-funnel conversion such as demo requests, trials, and contact-sales.

• Set the refresh and testing cadence, and brief the content and design updates each page needs as positioning, products, and use cases evolve.

• Drive improvements in page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall experience with Engineering and Design.

• Partner with our SEO/AEO agency, turning their strategy and recommendations into on-page and content improvements across domains

• Ensure SEO/AEO/GEO best practices are reflected in site structure, metadata, and content, coordinating with Engineering on technical implementation

eCommerce Performance

• Partner with commerce and product teams to improve on-site conversion and the end-to-end buying experience for camera hardware, subscriptions, and Capture Services.

• Align page optimizations and web content with promotions, pricing changes, and product launches.

• Contribute merchandising input where it affects conversion.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.

• 10+ years of professional experience

• 8+ years in web, digital, growth, demand generation, or ecommerce, with a record of improving web conversion in cross-functional environments.

• Proficiency in modern web technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, Core Web Vitals, and analytics/tagging tools such as GA4, GTM and GTG.

• Strong CRO and web analytics skills. Hands-on A/B testing experience.

• Experience owning a conversion or revenue metric for a website and reporting on it to leadership.

• Proven ability to set a web roadmap and drive it across teams without direct authority.

• Hands-on fluency in a headless, component-based CMS. You can brief and review the work, and publish updates yourself when coverage requires it. Contentful preferred.

• Strong understanding of ecommerce performance and the drivers of online conversion.

• Understanding of lead generation and how web form fills convert into sales pipeline.

• Enough technical fluency to work with Engineering on architecture, performance, and technical SEO.

• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and experience managing an agency relationship.

• A collaborative, low-ego operator who builds strong partnerships across internal teams and external agencies.

• A track record of commitment to prior employers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in VWO or Optimizely highly preferred. You have built, run, and analyzed experiments end to end.

• Experience with a multi-domain or multi-region web footprint.

• Background in B2B technology or SaaS with both a direct sales motion and an ecommerce channel.

• Practical AI fluency applied to content production, testing, or analysis.

• Familiarity with commercial real estate, AEC, or adjacent industries.

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.


Base Compensation: $134,000.00 - $182,000.00 Annually
