Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead

Directly supervises a field crew performing various landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, weeding, pruning, and seasonal clean-up for residential and/or commercial sites. Snow removal work is available during the off season. Responsibilities Ensure the safety of the crew and public as work is being done. Ensure the work done by the crew is done efficiently, meeting budgeted time constraints Ensure the work done by the crew is done professionally, meeting the high standards of Lindgren Landscape and our clients. Ensure crew’s proper use of all equipment. Always represent the company’s best interest and maintain the highest level of integrity. Report regularly to supervisor. Dress, speak, and act as a professional. Minimum Qualifications Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. or more Ability to work in various temperature and weather extremes Proficient in the safe operation of landscape maintenance equipment Must have valid driver’s license Acute attention to detail Strong leadership skills Strong communication skills Must have good problem solving and critical thinking skills Must have character and integrity Preferred Qualifications Bi-lingual in Spanish Knowledge of and ability to detect common landscape challenges including inadequate water use, insect and disease problems Thorough knowledge of proper landscape care regarding water and fertilizer requirements of plants and turf Advanced turf care background Landscape industry certifications Horticulture background Experience with basic sprinkler system maintenance Experience in snow removal operations About Company Lindgren Landscape is an award winning, landscape design/build/maintain company serving Northern Colorado since 1995.
