Maintenance Manager – Direct Hire

Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled team, drive equipment reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, VFD, pneumatic, and automated systems
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Drive downtime reduction, root-cause analysis, and process improvements
• Oversee maintenance projects, inventory, vendors, and contractors
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with company standards
• HANDS ON - willing to turn a wrench when needed

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
• 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation systems
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work alongside technicians and lead by example

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing environments such as foam, fiber, textiles, or continuous-process production
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Fabrication, welding, and industrial automation experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hickory, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
