Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: Provides occupational therapy services across all age groups by planning and implementing treatment programs based on accepted practices. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and development. Key Responsibilities Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers. Develops individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Works closely with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Performs physical activities including lifting, assisting with patient care, and making frequent relocations. May handle emergency situations and work irregular hours as needed. Qualifications & Skills Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations. Strong physical strength, mobility, and stamina. Knowledge of infection control and use of protective equipment. Excellent communication skills for visual and hearing requirements (corrective aids acceptable). Physical activities involve sitting, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing.
