Join us.Job SummaryResponsible for leading and coordinating the work of employees who repair and maintain equipment and infrastructure. Plan, schedule, order parts and manage repairs to equipment in a safe and efficient manner Essential FunctionsDirect supervision of hourly employeesPlanning maintenance work around production schedules, identifying, requesting and locating critical spare parts, coordinating repairs with contractorsTrouble shooting electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment and accessing required work to assure accuracy in scope to facilitate efficient work planning in a world class maintenance organizationJob RequirementsMinimum Requirements:Associate's degree in a technical fieldAbility to work overtime and weekends to complete special projectsWillingness to respond to calls 24 hours a day, when requiredPreferred Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a technical fieldExperience with metals processingExperience working in a Melt Shop environmentExperience navigating and using of Maximo (CMMS)Supervisory experience in a technical or manufacturing environmentStrong technical and mechanical or electrical backgroundProficiency in Microsoft software packagesAbility to read mechanical and electrical blueprintsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience with resolving issues to root cause and ability to implement corrective actionsKnowledge and maintenance of rotating equipmentExperience with Dust Collectors & BaghousesUnderstanding of environmental complianceKnowledge of and experience with Electric Overhead CranesAbility to read and comprehend equipment drawingsExperience with predictive technologies as applied to equipment reliabilityElectrical aptitude is a plusStrong leadership skills with all mechanical and electrical maintenance craft disciplinesShort- and long-term planning skillset of small to large scope equipment repairs and rebuildsAbility to navigate and utilize all programs in the Microsoft Office Software bundleTypically a daylight position, but willing to work extended hours and shifts when necessaryCandidates should have a strong work ethic, the ability to work as part of a team, good communication and organizational skillsWe thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
