Lead Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant

Responsibilities Lead and supervise 16 physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Assist in surgical procedures including 1st and 2nd assisting. Cover operating room and floor duties, including weekend, night coverage and rotations. Perform radial and vein harvesting using the Maquet system. Assist in robotic mitral, endoscopic harvesting, complex aortic, mechanical circulatory support and organ transplant cases. Qualifications Experienced cardiovascular physician assistant. Proficiency in robotic mitral and endoscopic procedures. Experience with Maquet radial and saphenous vein harvesting. Ability to assist in complex aortic cases and mechanical circulatory support. Prepared to work 12-hour shifts 3-4 times per week with weekend and night coverage. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $160,160 - $260,000 per year.
