This full-time opportunity calls for a Certified School Nurse (CSN) passionate about making a positive difference in the well-being and educational experience of students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, including those in transition programs up to age 22. As a valued member of a dynamic school environment, you'll play a vital part in supporting students with a wide range of health and support needs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience working with school-age children, including those with diverse abilities and needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and medical professionals
- Quick adaptability and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with relevant health regulations and school nursing best practices
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing daily health concerns, medications, and care for K-12 and transition students
- Developing and implementing individualized health plans for students with chronic or acute health concerns
- Conducting health screenings, immunization compliance, and maintaining accurate health records
- Serving as a liaison for health education, preventative care, and emergency response
- Collaborating with educators and school teams to provide inclusive support for all students
- Providing compassionate care and advocacy for students' physical and emotional needs
