IU Health Medical Group- East Region is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Wound Care team at Ball Wound Care & Jay Wound Care clinics!

Position Details:

• Supplemental, Days
  • PRN schedule covering either full days or partial morning or afternoons
  • Monday-Friday
• 100% outpatient
• Patient volume: 30/week, all ages
• Pediatric and geriatric patients with open wounds
• Team includes 7 physicians
• Procedures include wound debridement, bone debridement and biopsy, wound cultures and biopsy, substitute application, TCOM testing and reading, HBO supervision

Qualifications:

• FNP or PA certification required.
• Background in med/surg or other documentation heavy area, wound experience, and HBO experience preferred

Healthcare System/Hospital Description

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a 379-bed hospital and is designated as alevel 3 trauma center. It is both a teaching hospital and a regional tertiary referral center. Over the last decade, the hospital has undergone a $130 million remodel. Since the early 1980s, physicians and staff members have been actively involved in national and international medical research studies, particularly in the areas of oncology, cardiology and coagulation.
