The role supports the overall profitability of the store, consistently follows policies and procedures from the Employee Handbook and Retail Rental training, and requires the ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations. Wage The base hourly pay range is $20.50 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, training, location, merit, responsibilities, travel, and other factors. Pay is one component of the total compensation package. Essential Duties Meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals Perform goal setting and promote up‑selling, add‑on sales, and sell‑through Handle guests’ problems and complaints professionally, ensuring an excellent resort experience Serve as key holder for assigned location, opening and closing when scheduled Oversee daily cash register operations and ensure accurate end‑of‑day procedures and revenue accounting Maintain store cleanliness, staff behavior, and effective displays that promote sell‑through Present merchandise to guests politely and assist in satisfying product needs, wants, and desires Attend product knowledge clinics during normal store hours and after closing as needed Assist Retail Manager/Supervisor in communicating with Warehouse Supervisor and Buyer to keep the store stocked Enforce department policy on controlling internal and external shrinkage Operate the point‑of‑sale system efficiently Exhibit excellent cash and credit card handling skills Be a cooperative team player Perform other duties as needed Supervisory Duties Act as the Management on Duty in the absence of the Retail Manager/Supervisor Provide input to the Retail Manager/Supervisor when creating store schedules Implement and encourage retail employee incentive programs Promote and enforce policies and procedures per the Employee Handbook and Retail Rental training Required Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality Valid Colorado driver’s license and clean motor‑vehicle record Availability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency schedule changes as needed Fluency in spoken and written English Excellent verbal and written communication skills with guests, supervisors, employees, and other departments Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude and willing to assist guests in‑store Experience Retail merchandising experience desired but not required Guest service experience desired but not required Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED (required) Physical Requirements The role requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, and operating a computer and office machinery.
