Floor Technician

Base Pay $22.00 - $26.00 / Hour Description Saturday - Wednesday Paid travel time and company vehicle provided Must have experience Stripping & Waxing VCT flooring, using Carpet Extractors *Most work needs to be completed outside of regular business hours. Which is why it is longer weekend shifts and shorter shifts after work Monday - Wednesday We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to work on carpet and flooring projects over the weekends, as well as cover call outs for regular cleaning shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of floor care techniques and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Covering shifts will consist of regular janitorial duties - sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, etc. About 3Point Cleaning: 3Point Cleaning has been in business for over 10 years, offering custom office cleaning services to meet the particular needs of each client. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing. Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaning machines. Conduct inspections of flooring to identify areas needing repair or special attention. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation. Stripping & Waxing VCT Ability to perform buffing and carpet cleaning effectively. Carpet Extraction Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
