Facilities Supervisor

Facilities Supervisor needed for an injection molding facility. Supervise multiple departments for productivity, duties, and responsibilities. Help to facilitate the needs of upper management through human and mechanical resources. Must be willing to supervise, task delegate, and work in the environment. Assigned a team to complete tasks. 24/6 operation Mars Plastics 40 Agnes Street Providence, RI View phone number on click.appcast.io Responsibilities Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in plant, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on plant equipment such as changing oil and filters, inspecting all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Maintain safety features on equipment and cleanliness standards per housekeeping responsibilities. Maintain records on repairs and PMs to meet the requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor. Perform any other plant PM or repairs, including lighting, panels and switchgear, and auxiliary equipment. Assist manufacturing as required and communicate between shifts to ensure smooth turnover. Assist in the implementation of new or refurbished equipment, processes, and projects. Abide by all regulations within the Mars Plastics Employee Handbook. Have flexibility to complete projects and tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience. Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints. Forklift training. On‑job training. Good organizational skills. Ability to communicate and work well with others. Overhead crane training. Lock/out Tag/out training.
