Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the assignment
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Float to sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates (locals accepted at a lower rate)
• Must submit all requested time off and scheduling requests prior to or at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
• Must be able to confirm any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
