Compassionate 1:1 Caregiver

Work Skills is currently seeking a compassionate 1:1 Caregiver to provide individualized care and support for a client in the Brighton, MI. The position includes:

• 1 FT 3pm-11pm
• 1 PT 3p-11p Caregiver
• Rotating weekends are required for this position in the Howell Area

What You'll Do:

• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• This position involves providing mobility assistance, including the safe use of a gait belt and wheelchair during transfers and daily activities.
• Caregiver must have a reliable personal vehicle and be willing to transport the client to appointments, community activities, and outings as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (accommodations available)
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
• 1 Year of caregiving experience
