Travel CVICU RN - Riverview, Florida

Provide critical care to adult patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role focuses on delivering specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), requiring keen clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.


Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients post-cardiac surgery to detect any complications early.
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and support hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals for patient care planning.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery processes.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Current RN license with at least 1 year of CVICU nursing experience.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Certification in NIH Stroke Scale is required.
• Proficient in using advanced cardiovascular monitoring equipment.
• Ability to wear designated navy blue scrub colors as part of the unit standard.
