Non-CDL Flush Truck Operator

Now hiring! Non-CDL flush truck operator in Charlotte, NC.

You will be responsible for operating and properly maintaining flush trucks throughout the course of the job.

Pay: $24+hr (pay is competitive and based on experience level)

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Operating hydro excavation trucks to perform potholing, trenching, tunneling, locating utility lines, subsurface utility engineering and cleaning tasks
• Managing water pressure of 3000psi
• Completing paperwork, forms, iPad service tickets and records as needed
• Following all company and OSHA mandated safety policies and procedures
• Following local and federal DOT regulations while assisting in the operation of machinery and vehicles
• Good communication with other employees and customers
• Regular attendance as part of a 2-man crew
• Pass CPR and First Aid Training

Minimal requirements include:

• Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement
• Possess a current and valid DOT Medical certificate
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Criminal background check and safety performance verification
• Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, rain, snow
• Minimum of 21 years old
• Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications include:

• Above-average customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Capable of working under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met

Benefits are available to full-time employees (30 or more hours per week). Medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, and voluntary short-term and long term disability insurance after 90 days. Holiday pay after 6 months. 40 hours vacation pay after 1 year; 80 hours after 2 years. Sick pay according to state laws 401(k) eligible with up to 3% company match after 1 year. Per diem is available to all employees regardless of employment classification (full-time, part-time, or temporary employees).
