What You'll Do As a Maintenance Assistant , you will:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility.

• Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance projects.

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and building systems operate efficiently.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.

• Inspect the building and grounds to identify and address safety concerns.

• Assist with moving furniture, setting up rooms, and special projects as needed.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and facility policies.

• Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal, landscaping, or exterior upkeep as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous maintenance, building, or facilities experience preferred.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair techniques.

• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions when necessary.

• Ability to safely perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
