Position OverviewAd Astra Behavior Analytic Services is seeking motivated, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to gain practical experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and develop a foundation for a career in behavioral health and child services.Behavior Technicians provide direct support to children and families by implementing individualized ABA treatment programs under the guidance of the clinical team. Through structured, evidence-based interventions, technicians help clients strengthen communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills while supporting positive behavioral outcomes and greater independence. Services are provided primarily in clients' homes and community-based environments according to individual treatment needs. Typical sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility based on client needs and employee availability.Compensation: $20–$26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for bilingual Spanish-speaking applicants.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and become an important member of their treatment team. Responsibilities include:Delivering individualized ABA services in accordance with established treatment programs.Supporting the development of communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.Implementing skill acquisition and behavior intervention strategies under clinical supervision.Applying evidence-based ABA techniques to encourage learning, independence, and positive behavioral outcomes.Supporting interventions designed to decrease behaviors that may interfere with safety, learning, or daily functioning.Collecting accurate client data during each session.Completing required session documentation accurately and timely.Communicating observations, progress, and concerns with supervising BCBAs and other members of the clinical team.Maintaining positive, respectful, and professional relationships with clients and their families.Following established clinical, ethical, safety, and confidentiality standards.Remaining flexible and responsive to the individual needs of each client.Applicants with coursework, degrees, or experience in psychology, education, human services, child development, social services, or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. To help protect our staff's time, paid cancellation time of up to 2 hours may be provided when a client cancels within 30 minutes of the scheduled session start time and/or after the technician has already departed for the session.
