Operations Manager- 3PL

Our client, a leading global 3PL, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations within a high-volume distribution facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving safety, productivity, labor efficiency, and customer performance while leading a team of supervisors, managers, and hourly associates. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a track record of improving operational performance while maintaining a culture focused on safety and accountability. What You'll Be Doing Lead all warehouse and distribution operations within the facility Drive safety, productivity, quality, and customer service performance Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workforce efficiency Maintain accountability for operational costs and facility performance metrics Coach, develop, and mentor supervisors, assistant managers, and frontline leaders Ensure accurate reporting related to productivity, labor, safety, payroll, and operational KPIs Partner cross-functionally with transportation, customer service, HR, and other operational teams Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and service excellence Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and safety standards Foster a positive, high-performance culture built on teamwork and accountability What We're Looking For Experience leading operations in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, logistics, transportation, or supply chain environment Proven ability to lead large teams through multiple layers of management Strong understanding of labor planning, productivity management, and operational KPIs Experience managing facility-level financial performance and operating costs Ability to coach and develop frontline leadership teams Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills Comfortable working with WMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Ideal Backgrounds 3PL and contract logistics providers Retail and e-commerce fulfillment operations Consumer products distribution Transportation and freight operations Manufacturing or industrial distribution environments Desired Skills and Experience Distribution, Fulfillment, E-Commerce, Logistics, Operations #J-18808-Ljbffr DSJ Global
