Overview California Radomes Inc is an FAA‑approved aircraft repair station located in Santa Clara, CA. We specialize in aircraft radome repairs, overhauls, and testing with a strong commitment to quality and innovation. Position Composite Technician – Hand layup with wet layup & pre‑impregnated materials experience. Hours 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday‑Friday (32–40 hour work week). Able to work Saturdays and overtime as needed. Job Requirements & Responsibilities Punctual with good attendance. Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and mechanically inclined. FAA A&P license is a plus. Composite fabrication: create molded composite parts per custom specifications. Lay up composite laminates using peel ply and pre‑preg E‑glass/Kevlar/Hybrid quartz per work‑order instructions. Master debulking techniques and procedures, assemble and bond components. Maintain cycle time and pacing for continuous material flow. Post‑production processing: countersinking, bonding, filing, sanding, grinding, cleaning, cutting, deburring, trimming. Follow standard procedures, fill work orders and shop travelers, ensure accurate manual data entry. Perform additional duties as required. Benefits Competitive wages.
