Software Developer

The client is seeking a Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in Java, Oracle databases, RESTful web services, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience together with Oracle E-Business, PL/SQL, data conversion, integration, and enterprise application support.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical system specifications into working and tested applications.
• Develop detailed programming specifications and application code.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Work with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services.
• Conduct technical impact assessments for Oracle E-Business customizations and extensions.
• Support Oracle E-Business conversion and integration activities.
• Review, analyze, and modify product installation scripts.
• Conduct application design walkthroughs with project teams.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support application documentation and technical knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-client web applications.
• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience with Oracle or SQL databases.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong Object-Oriented programming experience, including design patterns, refactoring, and clean code.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
• Experience with query languages and information retrieval packages.
• Experience with application integration and communications protocols.

• Oracle E-Business customizations and extensions.
• Strong conversion experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections modules.
