Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift 4x10 hours (06:30 - 17:00). On-call requirements include 2 nights per week and 1 weekend every two weeks.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, performing various duties related to cardiac and neuro procedures. The RN will be responsible for coordinating care, performing assessments, administering medications, and assisting in procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab environment, including monitoring vital signs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform educational duties, instructing patients and families on post-procedure care.
• Participate in on-call shifts as per the specified schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care or Cath Lab setting is preferred (hard stop at 1.5 years).
• Current California RN license is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Epic experience is necessary.
• Neuro skills are highly preferred if applicable.
