The Laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. Hourly rate based on experience. Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 12 pm - 9 pm with extended hours on an as-needed basis.How you will make an impact:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:Performing manual material separation for processingRemoving non-compliant materials during the sorting processHandling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plantGeneral plant housekeeping inside and outside the buildingReporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staffWhat you need to succeed:0-2 years' experience in an industrial environmentExperience working in a fast-paced environmentRequired Skills & Competencies:High awareness to safety at all timesAbility to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrityAbility to sit for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to operate equipment properly and safelyStrict adherence to OSHA and company policies.WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a plant environment and may be exposed to hot or cold conditions.
