At Konza Prairie Community Health Center, our Medical Assistants are at the heart of care—supporting providers, improving access, and creating a positive patient experience.We're looking for a motivated, compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team!Schedule & PerksFull-time, Monday–FridayClinics close at 2 PM every FridayUp to 200 hours (5 weeks) PTO annuallyEmployer retirement contributionsMeaningful, mission-driven workKey ResponsibilitiesRoom patients, take vitals, and update medical historiesAssist providers with exams, procedures, and treatmentsPerform point-of-care testing and specimen collectionAdminister injections and medications as orderedTriage patient calls (urgent vs. non-urgent needs)Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-upsCommunicate with pharmacies for prescriptions and refillsDocument accurately in the EHR/EMR (eClinicalWorks)Educate patients on care plans and next stepsTravel between Konza clinic locations.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent healthcare education, training, or military medical experience.Minimum of one (1) year of direct Medical Assistant experience required for applicants without formal Medical Assistant education.Current CPR certification for Healthcare ProvidersPreferred QualificationsCertification (CMA, RMA, CCMA)Minimum of one (1) year of experience administering medications, treatments, and immunizations.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a primary care setting.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).Bilingual in English and Spanish.Join a team committed to expanding access to quality healthcare and strengthening the well-being of your community.
