Job Description Job Summary As a Lead Field Service Representative, you will be providing operations, maintenance & repair expertise on water treatment systems ata variety of customer sites. This critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, ultrafiltration (UF), wastewater, etc. To be successful in this profession, you’ll need to have strong mechanical/electrical/chemical and problem-solving skills. This is a traveling role that will assist and cover our clients throughout the Great Lakes region including:Michigan, Northern Indiana, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. Candidates must live within that territory to be considered. What you will do: Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance EHS (Environment Health & Safety) is always at the core of every activity and process Conduct maintenance and calibration activities Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements -Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed Consult with customer management and operation teams Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications Other duties as required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Accountability Customer Service, Strong Communication Computer Proficient Handle multiple, shifting demands professionally, adapting to dynamic business &industry situations. Be a considerate listener and clearly communicate ideas and solutions in a professional manner. PLC Programming Education & Experience Required: High School Diploma / GED Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams Valid Driver's License Preferred (if applicable): Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (STEM) 5+ years of experience in a field service, plant production or technical support role. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
