Senior ERP Analyst

Position Overview The Senior ERP Systems Analyst serves as the functional and technical lead for the organization’s ERP platform, with primary responsibility for Infor LN (LN CE) configuration, optimization, stability, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and operational business processes. The role owns the lifecycle of ERP enhancements (requirements, design, configuration, testing/UAT, deployment, and post‑go‑live support), drives governance and change control, and partners closely with Integration, Data/Analytics, and PLM teams to ensure ERP processes, interfaces, reporting, and master data work together as a cohesive enterprise system. Key Responsibilities ERP Ownership & Functional Leadership (Infor LN / LN CE) Lead ERP analysis and serve as subject‑matter expert for Infor LN (LN CE). Own configuration, process design, and solution delivery across manufacturing, inventory/warehousing, procurement, planning (MPS/MRP), project execution, and finance‑adjacent processes. Lead requirements gathering and process discovery; translate needs into functional specifications and system designs that prioritize scalability, standardization, and maintainability. Configure and maintain LN parameters, master setups, and module settings; ensure system behavior aligns with internal controls and intended business processes. Manufacturing, Warehouse & Operational Enablement Optimize ERP workflows supporting production execution, production orders, labor/material reporting, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, warehouse transfers, shipping/receiving, and multi‑site operations. Partner with operations and process improvement stakeholders to reduce manual steps, eliminate workarounds, and improve visibility into production status, inventory position, and execution readiness. Support connected shop floor and warehouse applications (e.g., SPS JobControl / StockControl) by ensuring LN transactions, master data, and process steps support clean operational execution and accurate reporting. Planning, MRP Health & Supply Chain Process Improvement Own continuous improvement of planning processes including MPS/MRP behavior, exception management, item planning parameters, supplier/lead‑time settings, and purchasing workflows. Lead periodic MRP “health checks” and root‑cause analysis of planning outcomes. Collaborate with procurement, planning, and finance stakeholders to improve controls and consistency for purchase order management, receipts, matching, and exception resolution. Master Data, Data Integrity & Controlled Mass Updates Drive ERP data integrity by enforcing standards for item master attributes, routings, BOMs, calendars/resources, vendor lead times, and other critical master data required for planning and execution. Manage controlled mass update/import procedures and limit risk through standardization, training, and permission discipline. Partner with Master Data stakeholders and business data stewards to clarify data ownership and improve data quality at the source. Change Control, Testing & Release Readiness (Infor Governance) Own ERP functional change management: coordinate configuration changes, testing evidence, UAT planning, approvals, cutover activities, and post‑release validation. Develop and maintain test scripts, UAT checklists, and regression test approaches for core business processes. Support, Troubleshooting & Problem Management Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem management for ERP issues impacting users and operations. Partner with vendor support and consultants to resolve complex defects and expedite escalation with clear evidence and business impact analysis. Improve supportability through knowledge articles, standardized troubleshooting steps, and “first response” procedures for common incidents. Security, Roles & Internal Controls (DEM Roles / Access Governance) Support and maintain role‑based access designs and related security configurations, ensuring least privilege and appropriate segregation of duties. Coordinate access changes with stakeholders and maintain audit‑ready evidence for role updates and approval decisions. Cross‑System Coordination (PLM, Integrations, Analytics) Partner with PLM stakeholders to align engineering workflows with ERP execution needs. Collaborate with Integration teams to validate end‑to‑end business outcomes for ERP‑connected applications and interfaces, including monitoring, exception handling, and process continuity. Collaborate with Data/Analytics stakeholders to ensure ERP data is structured and governed for reporting and enterprise metrics. AI‑Enabled Productivity & Responsible Use Leverage AI‑enabled tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, test case generation, and knowledgebase creation while ensuring outputs are reviewed for accuracy. Identify practical opportunities to apply AI/process intelligence capabilities to improve ERP operations. Training, Documentation & User Adoption Develop and maintain ERP training materials, process documentation, job aids, and standard work instructions. Conduct training for key users and stakeholders and support change adoption. Job Skills Deep functional ERP expertise, especially Infor LN (LN CE) in manufacturing and operations environments. Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows, inventory/warehousing, procurement, planning (MRP), and project‑driven execution concepts. Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and translate business needs into scalable functional designs. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex cross‑functional issues. Experience with structured change control, testing/UAT leadership, and release readiness practices. Working knowledge of integration concepts and ability to partner with integration teams. Working knowledge of reporting/analytics concepts and data quality principles. Familiarity with role‑based access and internal control concepts (least privilege, segregation of duties). Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities. Practical AI competency for responsible use in improving productivity. Education & Training Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered. Preferred training or certifications in Infor LN, ERP process design, manufacturing planning (MRP), IT service management, project delivery, process improvement, data/analytics fundamentals, or AI fundamentals. Minimum Requirements 7+ years of hands‑on ERP experience in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or project‑driven environment, with progressive responsibility and ownership of ERP solutions. Demonstrated experience leading end‑to‑end ERP initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing/UAT, deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization. Experience supporting or partnering with integrations, reporting/analytics, and master data management. Strong understanding of manufacturing and operational business processes, including production planning, inventory control, procurement, and project‑based execution. Experience working in growth‑oriented or transformational environments where standardization, governance, and scalability are critical. Prior experience collaborating with external vendors, consultants, and system integrators, including managing deliverables. Familiarity with change management, governance, and release management practices within an ERP ecosystem. Exposure to data, reporting, or analytics platforms such as Power BI. Preferred Requirements Infor LN (LN CE) experience strongly preferred, including functional configuration, process design, and optimization across core modules. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with a computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading.
