Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. This role will be focused on government projects and will require a deep understanding of the construction industry, particularly in the government sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large‑scale commercial construction projects and will possess strong leadership skills. The candidate must have experience working with a general contractor. This is a permanent position and will require a commitment to excellence, strategic planning, and quality control. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Work closely with government agencies such as NAVFAC and/or Army Corps to ensure all project requirements are met. Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and project staff. Develop and implement project budgets, manage project‑related finances, and ensure financial objectives are met. Oversee project scheduling and ensure timelines are adhered to. Implement and monitor quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets or exceeds standards. Make strategic decisions related to project planning and execution. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and government representatives. Qualifications B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 7 years of industry experience, preferably in Government general contracting. Proven experience in planning, leadership, decision making, and team leadership. Demonstrated experience in construction management and strategic planning. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures in the construction industry. Experience working with NAVFAC and/or Army Corps is preferred. Ability to coordinate project‑related finances and implement project budgets. Experience with construction project scheduling. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
