French Tutor

Job Description

Seeking an Experienced French Tutor — Upper East Side (Sunday Mornings)

We are looking for a qualified French tutor for our 3-year-old, for weekly sessions on Sunday mornings in the Upper East Side area. Sessions would run approximately two hours and use an age-appropriate immersion approach—songs, stories, and play-based conversation—with the goal of building early comfort and fluency in the language. We are open regarding the setting, whether that is a language school, a tutor's studio, or another suitable space, and are happy to discuss what works best.

Requirements:

\n
• Native or fully fluent French speaker
\n
• Demonstrated experience teaching or working with children in the 2–5 age range
\n
• Relevant qualifications: a degree or certification in early childhood education, language teaching (FLE/TEFL), or a comparable background
\n
• Reliable Sunday morning availability and a commitment to a consistent weekly schedule
\n
• References available upon request
\n

This is a paid position; compensation is commensurate with experience and open to discussion.

If you are interested, please send me a private message including a brief summary of your background, your qualifications, the ages you have worked with and for how long, your availability, and where sessions would take place. Kindly message me directly rather than commenting, so I can respond to everyone properly.
